VOLUNTEER DAY THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 9 AT CDP

You know that spring is in the air when it's time for Volunteer Day at Cordova Dragway Park. The 16th Annual Volunteer Day is this Saturday, April 9 and get's underway at 9 AM. "Seems like every year we have a variety of projects and it's the same for this year" mentioned Scott Gardner.

Projects include some carpentry work, tree trimming, racking, staining and painting, fence repair, cleaning and more. "The winter season is always hard on the facility and we are very thankful for anyone who can join us for part or all day" continued Gardner. All volunteers will be served lunch and provided a test-n-tune pass good at Cordova Dragway Park. We hope to see you here!

Volunteer Day Projects
- Distribute road grindings (we have one skid-steer, could use one or two more)
- Fix Signs
- Pick Garbage
- Rake various areas
- Paint select buildings and trim
- Stain Tower of Power
- Stain split rail fencing
- Fix entrance gates
- Rake and distribute mulch in playground area
- Etc
