RK RACING SWEEPS SPONSOR SHOWDOWN

Rich Kent operator of RK Racing Engines had something to prove at the 2011 Sponsor Showdown event at Cordova Dragway Park this past Saturday, October 15. After a disappointing showing at the 2010 event when none of his "team cars" won a round of racing, he was out to make a stand in 2011 and that's exactly what he and his teammates did.

The RK teams, one in no-box class and the other in box, dominated the competition and claimed a double championship as Rich Kent himself won in box and Bill Northup in no-box. In fact there competition in the final rounds were both RK team cars.
