MIDNIGHT MAYHEM & DRAG FEST
KICK OFF A BUSY AUGUST

This Friday, August 5 begins a very busy period
at Cordova Dragway Park.

Friday is a Rev-Hard Fun Night followed by the popular Rev-Hard Midnight Mayhem. Then on Saturday, August 6, it's the 1st Annual Drag Fest Event is designed for 1966 and older cars. Gassers, Altereds, Dragsters, Super Stock, Stock, Cruizers, Kustoms and Hot Rods are all welcome. In addition, vendors will be attendance along with a swap meet. Along with the Drag Fest portion of the event open test-n-tune along with a bracket gamblers race will be conducted in addition to the Heartland Association heads-up drag classes.

To continue the mood of the event, bands will begin at 3 PM and play throughout the evening. "We are looking forward to hosting this event, mentioned Track Operator Scott Gardner, I'm sure we will see a lot of very interesting vehicles here at Cordova." Drag Fest Promoter John Wells said "We are hoping to re-create the same atmosphere that was the true spirit or racing in the the mid 60's".

Admission for Friday Fun Night including Midnight Mayhem is $8 and for the Drag Fest event on Saturday it's $11. Gates open Friday at 5:30 PM and on Saturday at 2 PM.
