Nearly 100 Vehicles Race New Year's Day

HangoverFest X lived up to expectations as Mother Nature provided a typical winter day for drag racing with windy and cold conditions. Nearly 100 vehicles (cars, trucks and quads) ventured down the race track. Two organized races were held at the event with the Peacock's Gamblers class and a Trophy Class. In the Peacock's Gamblers race it was regular racer Dan Gibson who claimed the cash as he stopped Steven Klemme in the final. Gibson used a .019 reaction time to win the double breakout race. In the Trophy Dash it was Dan Beale who scored a victory over Dennis Lund Jr.
