NATIONAL DRAGSTER CHALLENGE RESCHEDULED FOR THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 19

The National Dragster Challenge originally scheduled for this past Saturday will now be this Saturday, June 19 at Cordova Dragway Park. "The rain forced the cancellation of the race last Saturday" said Scott Gardner. "The rain hit at just after 1 PM and lasted until after 3 PM, so we would have not been able to start time runs until 4:30 or 5 PM, which would have been very hard" he continued.

The National Dragster Challenge awards the prestigious "NHRA Wally" trophies to select class winners. Gates will open Saturday at 2 PM with time trials underway at 3 PM and eliminations to follow approximately 7 PM.
