It’s will be a battle of the ages, as Tony and Cruz Pedregon bring their 300 mile per hour Nitro Funny Cars to take on Tim and Dan Wilkerson in their Nitro entries at the 57th O’Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing on Saturday, August 28, 2010.

New to the line-up this season, is upstart Dan Wilkerson as he continues to get experience in the seat of his Nitro Funny Car. Dan Wilkerson is expected to race 8-10 NHRA National Events this season in addition to the Night under Fire at Norwalk (OH) and the World Series Event at Cordova.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for us to have a family shoot-out in the Nitro Funny Car category” said Track Operator Scott Gardner. “We are more than pleased to have four championship Nitro Funny Cars at the 57th World Series” he continued.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing is set for August 27-29, 2010.
