CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEATHER PREDICTED FOR SATURDAY

OUTLAW EVENT EXPECTED TO SET ATTENDANCE RECORD

The forecast for this Saturday must have been ordered by the Chamber of Commerce, as it's picture perfect. "It's almost hard to believe how good the forecast is, said Scott Gardner, with all the rain and cold temps as of late it's very refreshing" he mentioned.

Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny sky's, light breezes and a high temperature of 74 degrees for this Saturday, May 15 the day of the Outlaw Street Car Shootout at Cordova Dragway Park. As a reminder, this as a Fan Appreciate Event with FREE ADMISSION to the spectator side of the race track with your complimentary ticket. A $10 per vehicle parking fee applies. Tickets are available on-line through this site as well as at a variety of locations throughout the QCA. In addition, Cordova Dragway Park has decided to release an additional 1000 tickets to the convenience stores located near the track on Hwy 84.

EVENT UPDATE ..... As of this writing there are now 15 Top Dawgs (Pro-Mods) pre-entered for this event. Should that many cars indeed attend, the qualifying for the 8 car field will be a show in itself.
