NITRO NATIONALS & THUNDERFEST
MOVED TO SUNDAY

DUE TO THE CONTINUED RAIN ON SATURDAY WE HAVE MOVED THE WHOLE SHOW TO SUNDAY

This Saturday professional drag racing returns to Cordova Dragway Park with the AC Delco Nitro Nationals and Thunderfest presented by RM Distributing. Headlining the first feature show of 2007 will be the popular front engine nitro nostalgia Top Fuel Dragsters of the Pro Fuelers Association along with past champion and track record holder Roger "Radar" Letchenberg. In addition, for the first time in the events history, four nitro nostalgia Funny Cars will be on hand including the popular "Stardust" entry. Nearly sixteen nitro entries will be on hand.

In addition to the nitro fueled action, the popular Jet dragsters and funny cars will also be in attendance, including the brand new "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" of KC Jones. Plus the show will feature A-Fuel Dragsters, Jr Fuel, Gassers, Wheelstander, the Super Shifters, Fireworks and more. 

The popular showman Benny "The Bomb" also returns to CDP as he will strap himself inside a car jammed with dynamite and blow everything up. A spectacular everyone needs to see to believe.

Tickets for the AC Delco Nitro Nationals and ThunderFest are $22 for adults with kids (6-12) only $5. The gate prices include parking and pit access. The spectator gates will open at 10 AM with sportsman racing and qualifying throughout the day with the feature show at 7 PM.
