OKTOBERFEST TO FEATURE BIG DOLLARS BRACKET RACE The OktoberFest of Drag Racing, Saturday and Sunday, Sept 29-30 will feature a special pay-out bracket race on Saturday. The winner of the Super Bracket Combo will take home a cool $4,000. The Super Combo Bracket Class is a box/no-box combo race with those entries running on separate sides of the ladder till the final. In addition, the True Street Class will pay $350 to the winner. There will also be racing on Saturday for Junior Dragsters and a Trophy Class. "We don't have that many events that pay this kind of money" said Scott Gardner. "The challenge is to offer this good of pay-out while keeping the entry fee as low as possible" he continued. On Sunday, Sept 30 the final Cordova points series race of the year will be conducted. In addition to classes of Super Pro, Pro, Super ET, True Street, Pro-Bike and Junior Dragsters, there will be a Reher-Morrison Frantic 14 and the NHRA King of the Track challenge. Sunday is also the final MBA points race and the CDP Race of Champions. "With all this great sportsman racing we will also have the gear jammin Super Shifters here for their points finale" said Gardner. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2007 Super Bracket Combo (6.50-13.99) Box/No-Box - Separate sides till final. No-Gold Cards Please. Racers may enter same vehicle on both sides of ladder, but delay box must be removed in no-box. Winner $4,000 True Street (13.50 - Slower) Round money begins with round #1 win @ $10 per round won till semi-finals.
