JUNIORFEST KEEPS THE MAGIC

With the cost of traveling this season, the Cordova staff really wasn't sure what to expect this past weekend for the JuniorFest of Drag Racing event. However, the car count was sound and the fun was second to none. Not only was there several different classes of racing for the Junior Dragsters, there was also a bonus race thrown in. "Our goal is to make the weekend totally fun" said Track Operator Scott Gardner. "That is why we have the Water Warz and for the first time ever, a Movie Night on a large screen" he mentioned. The next featured All-Junior Dragster event, is the Drag News Magazine Halloween Junior Nationals on October 5-7 at Cordova Dragway Park. More than 400 teams from throughout the Country are expected to attend. For more information go to dragnews.com
